Extruding

Just been around St Andrews Park collecting waste cardboard from peoples recycling bins to make this work with.
I need loads of the stuff. Cereal boxes and corrugated beer boxes.

A New Work-'Splash'

I bought a guillotine on e-bay and have started a new work to show somewhere in Bristol.

Gallery Tour

Using the same digital information to create sculptures, drawings and annimations.

'changeable' again

The binding is drawing and scribbling. They are a beginning and will be worked up with more density of binding until the white plastic mesh is filled covered and fleshed out.

'changeable' with text (see archive below)

The fircone leaves are bound with string and wool for colour. The taxi is stitched through with thread in a loom manner.

'changeable'

The second sculpture in the show. This is now dismantled but will be worked on much further with vast amounts of binding and rendering.

A Mini Tour

A chance to walk round the sculpture 'Gone To Seed or Green Shoots'

Gone to Seed or New Shoots.

The work is now dismantled and stored away until I find a suitable space to continue painting the sculpture. I will be painting over the work, in sections, intensively for a substantial amount of time. Paint will drip and splatter on the leaves and seed heads as well as flowing into the cavities. Building up into thick layers. When does the paint become form?

Gone to Seed or New Shoots. Raw,Non painted side

The computer generated forms are ready to be painted on, both during the show and after they have been taken back to the studio. They will evolve from this point on. They are embryos of new works

Gone to Seed or New Shoots.

Works from my recent show in Manchester March 2010
